We have 70 locations throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, Lake, Seminole, and Orange counties with plans for future growth. Currently, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician with Healthcare Clinic experience to join our dynamic team at our Baldwin Park-Orlando office.
JOB SUMMARY:
Provides repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities and building structures at Healthcare Clinics; under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing work order system
- Recording Life Safety equipment maintenance
- Providing facility repairs and work order completion records
- Travel to various healthcare clinics in the Orlando and Tampa Bay area
- Performing all repairs in compliance with the state and local healthcare governing agencies
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to manage clinic maintenance with limited supervision
- Experience in healthcare or biomedical maintenance
- Experience in one or more building trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry
- Basic knowledge of Life Safety equipment (general function and operation)
- General computer knowledge and experience
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance work order systems
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize and follow specified procedures
INTERACTIONS/WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must possess the ability to interact and communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of internal personnel, providers, personnel of outside organizations, contractors, etc. Must possess good organizational skills, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and be able to work effectively with all levels of aforementioned groups.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting and reaching. Requires full range of body motion including manual, finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires normal visual acuity and hearing. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
