Job Description

Nautique Boat Company’s Technical Support Engineer are responsible for providing dealers and customers technical support.  They will help handle and resolve any issues regarding Nautique customers, parts requests, service requests as well as any special request from Nautique Boat Company’s dealers, sales department and sales representatives. 

Job Duties

• Technical Support Engineers are to ensure a high level of customer service.
• Conduct guest and customer factory tours
• Troubleshoot electronic, mechanical or technical customer issues
• Answer customer service calls in a timely manner

• Key member of annual service training

Skills/Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills including: excel, charts & graphs, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook
• Patience and good temperament while dealings with customers
• Experience or formal education in Electronic Engineering
• Ability to accurately interpret electronic schematic diagrams along with working knowledge of electronic components
• Excellent Team player

• Must be able to read, understand, and retain basic boat information in order to deal with the consumers, reps, dealers, and sales department.
• Must have outstanding verbal communication skills.
• Must have attention to detail for data entry.
• Electrical, mechanical or technical troubleshooting
• Knowledge of boating

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to give factory tours in manufacturing facility.
• Must be able to wear proper safety equipment when necessary.
• Must be able to lift 10-50 pounds may be required when necessary.
