Amgen is seeking a Human Resources Operations Manager who will work in our Employee Services group.

The Human Resources Operations Manager will report to the Senior Manager of Talent Operations and will work out of Amgen s Capability Center in Tampa, FL.

This state-of-the-art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a meaningful impact at one of the world s leading biotechnology companies.

The Human Resources Operations Manager will provide oversight for our global relocation vendor and related billing processes.

Additionally, this role will provide other accounting and financial reporting support for the Employee Services group.

Amgen s Employee Services group is a newly formed organization intended to provide a more cohesive employee services delivery model.

Our service scope includes a wide array of employee touching corporate services ranging from Staffing Operations, Benefits Administration, Payroll, HR Technology, Learning Operations, Mobility, Travel, Expense and Meetings Management among several others.

By bringing these services and activities together under one organization, the Employee Services team aims to improve collaboration, share best practices, innovate and streamline processes in these areas for the entire enterprise.

Key Activities for the Human Resources Operations Manager include: Manages global relocation vendor Oversees and approve global relocation pass-through files Supports management of team budget and forecast Coordinates quarterly and annual SOX processes across Employee Services Oversees loan portfolio including service vendor management Supports international accounting processes related to international mobility program Researches and remediates any issues that may arise Manages Employee Services projects and initiatives on an as-needed basis Basic Doctorate degree OR Master s degree and 2 years of Human Resources and/or Accounting and/or Finance experience OR Bachelor s degree and 4 years of Human Resources and/or Accounting and/or Finance experience OR Associate s degree and 10 years of Human Resources and/or Accounting and/or Finance experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Human Resources and/or Accounting and/or Finance experience Preferred 5+ years experience in Accounting, Audit or Finance experience within a publicly traded company Expert proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Suite products Expertise in project management methodologies and ability to coordinate and monitor budgets Proven ability to define, implement and continuously improve operational processes Experience of managing vendor / partner relationships and ability to work in a fast-paced environment sometimes with ambiguous facts and circumstances Strong quantitative and analytical problem solving skills Amgen is committed to unlocking the potential of biology for patients suffering from serious illnesses by discovering, developing, manufacturing and delivering innovative human therapeutics.
