Hotel Houseman

Position Overview:

The Houseman is primarily responsible for cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel.  They are also the backbone of the laundry and assist in washing, folding and supplying the housekeepers with clean linen. 

Responsibilities:

• The Houseman assists the Housekeepers in removing linen from the Guest Rooms and bringing it down to the laundry. 
• The Houseman may assist in cleaning rooms by changing bed linens and emptying trash. 
• This includes vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture.   
• The job may require lifting up to 50 lbs. 

Qualifications:

• Hotel experience is a requirement for this position.
