Executive Assistant to the VP of Academic Affairs

Seminole State College of Florida is currently accepting applications for an experience Executive Assistant to join our Academic Affairs team! This position reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs and performs a wide variety of complex administrative duties related to the management of the Academic Affairs Office.  The executive assistant provides high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. Works with highly confidential and sensitive personnel information in a professional manner and requires extensive working knowledge of the College, College policies, and state laws and regulations.  May also train and oversee other clerical staff.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 
1. Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
2. Extensive years of experience as an administrative or executive assistant managing a complex office environment, approximately 3 to 5 years.
3. Excellent computer skills and internet research abilities including advanced proficiency using e-mail, web browsers, and Microsoft Office suite of applications including (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
