POSITION OBJECTIVE
Coordinate and execute all activities for the resort, guests and members.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Enthusiastically greet all guests and members to the Water Park.
  • Organize and participate in all daily activity programs including a variety of special events & holiday programs.
  • Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests.
  • Maintain quality assurance and safety of all programs.
  • Assist management in the coordination of conference group special events.
  • Supervise Game Room operation.
  • Provide great public relations and keep abreast of resort and local happenings, all to be of better service to the guests and to keep current on recreational trends.
  • Assist Recreation Supervisor with training new service professionals.
  • Assist with daily pool, beach and towel hut operations.
  • Assist with routine cleaning of all recreation areas and equipment: pool deck, lounge chairs, weather board.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the registration area/towel hut, appropriately organize the towels in the huts as needed.
  • Work on special projects and contribute ideas to the growth of the department.
  • Able to work well with the resort guests, co-workers and management, while displaying a consistent guest/customer service oriented attitude.
  • Kid’s crew ratio of coordinators to guests is 1 to 10.
  • Other duties may be assigned as business demands.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be 17 years of age or older.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in a service related position.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • CPR certification, FAK knowledge and WSI preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to successfully pass a Level 2 background screening check.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Position requires full flexibility in scheduling to work AM/PM, weekends & holidays, in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
  • Candidates in this role will be able to read, write, speak and understand English and meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
  • Must possess good communication skills, oral and written in order to communicate with guests, members and management.
  • Must be able to explain activities procedures to guests and members, and lead groups of people in a variety of activities.
  • Must have knowledge of age appropriate activities and enjoy working with all age groups.
  • Must be able to work alone with little or no supervision.
  • Strong organizational and guest services skills are required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
  • Must be able to swim.
  • Must be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
