POSITION OBJECTIVE
Provide assistance to patrons of the golf facilities from arrival to departure of golf course.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Golf Cart Attendant assists in overall operation of Reunion Resort and Club by representing the Club to players upon arrival.
  • Greet and welcome members and guests upon arrival.
  • Golf Cart Attendant provides assistance with golf club and/or personal affects of the guest.
  • Ensures flawless cart equipment by providing players with impeccably clean and perfectly maintained golf carts.
  • Golf Cart Attendant ensures the cart is equipped with towels, sand, scorecard, pencil, tees, and any other accessories needed.
  • Ensures the clean and orderly appearance of the golf facility throughout the day by continually servicing the practice range, target greens, putting greens, chipping areas, and cart staging area.
  • Golf Cart Attendant guarantees adequate supplies by reviewing all supply inventories.
  • Assist guests with obtaining rental clubs.
  • Golf Cart Attendant observes on-course pace of play and coordinate pace of play with starter and other rangers.
  • Assist golfers with information that may help them play the course such as rules, yardage markers, location of rest stations, areas to avoid with carts, etc.
  • Golf Cart Attendant reminds golfers to add sand to divots, repair ball marks, and rake sand traps.
  • Monitor on-course activities and report all infractions to Starter.
  • Golf Cart Attendant maintains knowledge of emergency procedures, location of emergency equipment, and reporting procedures. Provide emergency assistance to golfers and other guests as necessary.
  • Assist golf shop staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics and other special events.
  • Golf Cart Attendant assists starter on the tee as well as on the course with the flow of play and starting times.
  • Police the grounds by picking up garbage, trash and fallen debris on the course and around the buildings and parking lots.
  • Other duties may be assigned as business demands.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Candidate must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of golf experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Golf Cart Attendant must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
  • Golf Cart Attendant must be physically able reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to work from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
