POSITION OBJECTIVE
Reports to the head mechanic in the repairing and maintenance of various gasoline- and diesel-powered golf course maintenance equipment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Ability to climb, balance reach kneel or lift 50 lbs. and move heavy objects.
• Work in various weather conditions.
• Clean and organize shop area.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment (oil and filter changes, lube)
• Repair tires including patching, plugging and replacing.
• Sharpen rotary blades and small tools.
• Check equipment in and out.
• Provide verbal and written details concerning equipment status
• Maintain daily records
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Mechanically inclined with using tools common to working on small equipment
• Have knowledge of the game of golf and playing conditions
SCHEDULE
• Golf Course Maintenance operates 7 days per week. Service Professionals must be available to work weekends and overtime hours as required
