Accounting Manager of Unrestricted & Agency Funds

Seminole State College is currently accepting applications for an Accounting Manager of Unrestricted & Agency Funds to join our team of financial professionals. This position manages and maintains the College’s unrestricted funds, agency fund, scholarship fund, and general accounting operations.  Develops and maintains internal controls, fiscal policies, procedures, and financial reporting (internal and external) for the College’s unrestricted funds and general ledger activities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting; or a business related degree with a minimum of fifteen semester hours of accounting course work from an accredited institution.

2. Three (3) years of accounting experience.  

3. Two (2) years of supervisory experience.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Experience using Oracle PeopleSoft Financial Management System modules.

2. Progressively responsible professional experience in a college or governmental fund accounting environment.

3. Five (5) years of supervisory experience as an accounting manager.

Beginning annual salary is $53,077 and may be commensurate with degree and experience exceeding the minimum required qualifications plus excellent benefits.
