The Business and Finance Division of Rollins College is seeking an experienced professional to join the team. The Special Project Manager is responsible for capital building, renovations, infrastructure upgrade, mechanical/electrical and other facilities services projects as assigned.
Key areas of focus include overseeing design, permitting, construction and commissioning; managing the project schedule; and acting as liaison between campus constituents and the contractor to ensure projects are completed per requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
- Working knowledge of standard construction contracts (AIA) and various construction delivery methods (i.e. Design Build, at-risk contracts, etc.)
- Experience interpreting and applying construction drawings
- Working knowledge of building codes and construction safety practices
- Understanding of commercial/institutional building mechanical and electrical systems
- MS Office proficiency (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint)
- Valid Florida driver’s license and acceptable MVR
- Florida General Contractor’s license preferred
