Drive Shack is poised to become the go-to entertainment outlet for golfers and non-golfers alike.

The role of Steward is to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of our one of a kind kitchen.

THE ROLE

• Conduct all washing of dishes and equipment, and maintain standard dish machine maintenance
• Follow all safe work practices and requirements; immediately inform your supervisor if you see a hazard
• Maintain cleanliness of floors by sweeping and scrubbing designated areas
• Remove waste, garbage, and recyclable materials from kitchen area to appropriate receptacles
• Cross-train on stations and assist co-workers when needed
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and/or cooking equipment in storage areas
• Maintain a safe, sanitary work environment for all staff members and guests
• Perform other duties as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy and physically demanding environment
• Work schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods
• Must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
• Can withstand working with wet floors and high temperatures
• Frequently required to wash hands and/or wear gloves
• Previous kitchen experience is preferred
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail
