Room Attendant/Housekeeper - Avanti Palms Resort & Conference Center

Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center, a newly renovated hotel located in the International Drive tourist corridor, is now accepting applications for Room Attendants.

The Guest Room Attendant ensures the levels of cleanliness meet or exceed a 4 star / 4 diamond standard on a daily basis by following the Resorts unit cleaning check list, that act as a guideline for our standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities:           

• Clean all units assigned and ensure they are in accordance with the level of quality expected for the resort
• Smile and greet all guests and co-workers.
• Pick up all debris throughout property as sighted.
• Report any problems of quality to the Supervisor or Manager by contacting the dispatch coordinator.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times (i.e. room attendant carts, linen and supply closets).
• Attend and participate in required meetings.
• Ensure all Maintenance deficiencies are reported promptly, including, but not limited to repairs, replacements or damages caused by guests.
• Be familiar with the proper placement of furniture and amenities of the rooms.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic English language requirements.
• Prior Housekeeping experience.
• Good organizational skills and must be able to handle multiple tasks
• Able to work on your feet for long periods of time
