JOB SUMMARY: Serve as the primary program administrator of the Performance Management System (uPerform) including areas such as Goal Setting, Professional and Hourly Performance Evaluations, Talent Reviews (HR Planning), Development Plans, 360 Feedback surveys, and employee profile data. Responsible for initial implementation of system and ongoing identification of new functionality. Generates system reports from multiple sources and systems. Consults with clients to provide service on systems and processes. Supports vendor relationship under HR Technology leadership.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida and may require travel to other NBCUniversal parks and properties on occasion.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as primary liaison within the relevant functional area by providing support for end users, including on-call rotations, for access issues, application errors, and data validation. Performs research and testing for fixes to reach a timely resolution.
  • Serves as the primary program administrator of the performance management system (uPerform), including development, implementation, and maintenance. Implementation includes leading initial implementation along with overseeing ongoing deployment of additional functionality. Conducts analysis of business processes and recommends improvements or efficiencies to be integrated into system.
  • Generates system reports from multiple sources and systems on behalf of business clients.
  • Partners with Parks Technology support and external vendor as a liaison to ensure end users have a seamless experience that aligns system functionality with the business strategy/goals.

SCOPE: Use established HR Technology methodologies and tools to meet Service Level Agreements and provide input to improve practices. Track and report progress on projects to HR technology leadership. Demonstrate functional expertise in specific areas and work directly with IT peers and user community. Learn new technology from Senior HR Technology positions. Demonstrate proficiency in applicable systems which may include SumTotal, Jaspersoft, PeopleSoft HR, Organizational Development solutions, and other HR solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience administering an enterprise wide system.
  • Proficient in writing and executing SQL statements.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in conducting analysis of business processes and recommending improvements or efficiencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to install, configure, learn, use and explain enterprise software products.
  • Self-starter and able to work on own initiative based on direction from peers and leadership.
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have a client services approach to work.
  • Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies and processes.
  • Basic knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience developing and executing test cases.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative, environment.
  • On-call availability on a rotating basis.
  • Ability to work required hours outside of typical business hours which could include nights and weekends as necessary to meet project deadlines and operational support needs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM version 9.0 or above.
  • Experience administering a Performance Management system such as SumTotal.
  • Experience developing system reports using tools such as Jaspersoft or BIRT.

EDUCATION: Bachelors degree is desired, or commensurate work experience, in one or more of the following fields: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and/or Computer Science.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years prior experience supporting a HR system; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
