Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Technician                                                                                                        

Local manufacturing facility looking to add to their maintenance team. The Maintenance Technician will assist in developing, recommending and implementing measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product. Will be able to troubleshoot AC/DC variable frequency drives, and AC/ DC motors. Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLC's) as well as plant machinery and equipment. The maintenance technician will perform preventative maintenance and will work with plant management and machine operators to resolve mechanical issues that occur during production.

Job Requirements

**Must be able to work 6am to finish, could be 3:30,4,5pm also able to work on Saturdays**

• Minimum high school education or equivalent plus training courses specialized in electrical / electronics. Technical degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of industrial electrical experience working with VFD’s, instrumentation programming and PLC’s.
• Thorough knowledge of single phase and three phase electricity up to 480VAC. T
• Thorough knowledge of DC control and power circuits.
• Must have good maintenance and trouble shooting skills with mechanical/ electrical/ pneumatic & hydraulic systems
• Knowledgeable in working with and installing belt drives, gearboxes, and electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to read/ understand schematics and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience in welding / metal fabrication
