Leasing Administrator

Position is responsible for the administration of all commercial leases for properties managed by the Company.

Administrative duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • General tenant correspondence, including processing adjustments or billings as required with assistance from the accounting department
  • Draft new leases, lease renewals, amendments and extensions
  • Showing properties
  • Scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Prepare income schedules for annual property operating budgets
  • Correspond with tenants regarding upcoming renewals and other issues
  • Lease abstract and assist in lease review
  • Perform lease audits
  • Update billing / tenant contact information
  • File all lease administration correspondence in lease files (tenant and property files)
  • Assist with research of area rents, sales prices, competition information, and prospects
  • Review rent rolls for accuracy

 

 

Assist with facility and construction management in the following areas:

 

  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and concerns
  • Communicate to property manager and asset manager regarding tenant’s situations
  • Collect preventive maintenance HVAC contracts as required under the leases

Desired Skills:

 

  • Adobe Suite and accounting knowledge
  • Experience in buying, selling and leasing of commercial real estate from start to finish
  • Real Estate / Paralegal certification or BS/BA in business or related field preferred (not required)
