This position is responsible for providing grants administration on Fixing America’s Surface Transportation Act (FAST Act) and US DOT’s Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) initiatives, major construction projects, and other grants requiring extensive oversight work for all grants made available under US Department of Transportation (USDOT), Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), US Department of Energy, and other federal and state agencies administering grants.
This is a temporary grant-funded position with a planned end date of December 2021 (approximately 3 years), renewable subject to grant funding availability and requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Business Management, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in public transportation, grant preparation and administration; or a combination of related experience, education, and training.
