Full-time Communications Specialist

If you are an experienced creative communications professional we have a great opportunity for you to join our team of talented and diverse Faculty and Staff as a Communications Specialist in our College Marketing and Communications Department. This position provides support in writing, developing and implementing Seminole State College’s overall communications and reports to the Manager of PR Media Relations and Institutional Communications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
2. Two years of, professional work experience in public relations, journalism or related field.
3. Experience in interactive/Web writing experience, proper information linkage and optimum website navigation.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in higher education communications.

Annual Salary is $36,329 to $38,600 commensurate with education and experience exceeding the minimum required qualifications.
