General Cashier (AM Shift) - Caribe Royale

The General Cashier is responsible for general accounting functions including, but not limited to, preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers, and account and bank reconciliations. They will assist with monthly closings at the Caribe and Buena Vista Suites; support both properties in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department. Candidate must be able to also assist with inputting weekly payroll from organizational summaries into excel spreadsheets, performing daily credit card bank reconciliations to ensure money is being deposited into the bank account, inputting and classifying A&P and A&G food and beverage adjustments, distributing and logging coupons and gift cards for hotel packages, etc. This position will require flexibility in completing any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Accounting while maintaining a position work environment.
Previous experience is preferred. Must have experience with cash, credit, and debit handling. Strong computer and communication skills are required. Only candidates that meet the above qualifications will be considered.
