Warehouse General Labor
Distribution warehouse in Longwood, Florida is seeking individuals who would be open and available to work Temporary General Warehouse positions, As-Needed.
Primary duty will be to unload containers as they arrive, this will include heavy lift averaging 75 pounds.
Additional duties may include:
Breakdown pallets when trucks arrive
Stock shelves with product in correct locations; boxes labeled/shelves labeled
Pull orders; verify orders
Palletize shipments; shrink wrap and banding
Rebox product when needed
Must:
Lift heavy boxes; need to be able to lift 75 pounds
Be able to read and write English
Arrive on-time; if late, will be sent home
Be a Team player
Follow directions
Forklift/reach truck certified would be a plus (not necessary)
Will teach and show how to do job, everything very repetitive work. Ideal candidate would be someone that can catch on fast, pay attention to detail and work independently on task assigned.
Salary: $11.00-$12.00
Shift: Hours 8:30AM – 5:00PM Monday – Thursday and 8:00AM – 4:30PM Friday
Term: Temporary- On Call (As-Needed)
Start Date: First assignment will be Mid-January
