Position Summary

Lakeland Regional Health is searching for an enthusiastic Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Acute Care team. Qualified individuals will perform individualized treatment as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team for adult patients, resulting in positive patient outcomes and improved function for the clients and families served. The Physical Therapist Assistant is responsible to practice within their scope of licensure in accordance with approved policies, procedures and protocols. The Physical Therapist Assistant will serve as a role model through professional development, continuous learning, and improvement of competence in the practice of Physical Therapy.

Qualified Candidates must have:

•    Associate Degree

•    Accredited Program for Physical Therapy Assistant program

•    Current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Florida

Preferred Experience:

•    One year Acute Care experience
