The highly qualified individual we seek will actively participate as a vital team member of the Talent Management Division. They will manage, organize, plan, maintain, and administer the functions related to the rewards system; to include, but not be limited to: employee benefits, rewards and recognition programs, compensation, and related human resources transactions.  As the Compensation and Benefits Administrator, the incumbent takes a consultative approach to support the organization’s people, strategies, coordinates work of others, supervises and monitors benefits administration, and serves as liaison to providers.  Responsible for coordinating and administering the HRIS activities that support the administration of Human Resources activities.

We seek a professional who has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or a directly related area. Must have a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in employee benefits and compensation. Have a depth of knowledge in Human Resources compensation principles and practices and experience working with ACA, ADA and FMLA administration and laws. A Certified Employment Benefits Specialist designation (CEBS) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred or be enrolled with the ability to obtain certification within two years of employment.

 

A Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Human Resources-Information Systems, or related area or related certification is preferred. Experience with MUNIS and working in a public agency is highly preferred. Also preferred is a Certified Human Resources Professional (CP/PHR or SCP/SPHR).
