Reservations Agent (Flexible Shift) - Caribe Royale

The Reservations Agent is responsible for inputting guest reservations for individuals that are requested either by telephone or from within the hotel as well as reservations from the Sales Department, Lexington Services, Travel Agents, and Wholesalers. Duties include: upsells rooms (where possible) , utilize yield management strategies, process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes. Provides accurate information about the city and the surrounding attractions when asked by guests, mails hotel-specific information sheets and brochures to guests as requested, stays knowledgeable of current rates, rate changes and all promotions, completes daily logs to record number of telephone calls, bookings and cancellations, runs daily reports off the Lanmark System, and assists Supervisor and Reservations/Revenue Manager when needed. Must be flexible to complete any additional assigned task by management while maintaining positive customer service.
Prior reservations experience of at least 1 year is required. Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays. Strong communication and computer skills are required. Only candidates that meet above qualifications will be considered.
