A local client is seeking a Purchasing Assistant which handles all purchase order entry, shipping entry and receiving, container invoicing and logistics, and inventory analysis. Must be detail oriented.

Daily tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • Processing Purchase orders
  • Data entry of all shipments
  • Receiving of all shipments
  • Tracking shipments and logistics.
  • Following up on purchase orders
  • Helping customers with inventory details.
  • Inventory management
  • Filing paperwork and information management
  • Drafting Letters and Price proposals
  • Analyzing and keeping track of samples
  • Phone correspondence with vendors/clients
  • Creating marketing materials
  • General Office duties
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop

Qualifications:

  • Must be proficient using computers
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word,  and Excel
  • Must have 3-5 yrs experience as office manager
  • Experience with SAP or any other accounting software
  • Must have excellent business letter writing skills and data entry skills
  • Must be willing to multitask

Shifts: 1st Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm
Salary: $14.50-$16.00, Based On Experience
Term: Fulltime to Hire
