A client located in Sanford, Florida has IMMEDIATE OPENING FOR A SHIPPING CLERK.
Primary Duties:
Keep inventory of All material (Shipping and Production)
Package products and trays in a way to eliminate destruction of parts during shipping
Inspect parts before shipping to make sure they meet company standards
Verify customer specifications with produced part
Verify accuracy of quality control documentation
Prepare shipping labels
Prepare shipper (UPS, FedEx, etc.) paperwork
Arrange alternative shipping methods when needed
Receiving of all incoming materials (Raw Materials, Tooling and Supplies)
Recycling of returned materials
Follow and uphold all Company policies, including those designated for quality and environmental/safety considerations
Maintain vigilance of safety and environmental issues and opportunities for improvement
Maintain training and a basic understanding of the EMS as it pertains to the job function (including the Environmental Policy)
Ensure that all materials used in their job function are disposed of properly
Wear all appropriate personal protective equipment required for given tasks
Assist with Customer Service Investigations
Maintain a Clean work environment
Secondary Duties
Answering the phone as needed
Customer complaint handling
Assist production when necessary
Understand the MRB process
Hours: 10:30am - 7:30pm (possible overtime)
Salary: $12.00 - $14.00
