Orlando Health South Lake Hospital combines acute hospital care and medical services with comprehensive wellness programs, fitness training, community health education classes and support groups to serve the needs of south Lake County. South Lake Hospital's campus includes a 140 bed not-for-profit hospital, in affiliation with Orlando Health, a 30-bed short-term rehabilitation center, the Center for Women's Health, the National Training Center Sports and Fitness facility, South Lake Endoscopy Center, and South Lake Surgery Center. South Lake Hospital has been serving the healthcare needs of the South Lake Community since 1947 and employs nearly 1600 team members; and has over 350 physicians on its medical staff.
South Lake Cardiac Cath Lab is seeking a variable full time Electrophysiology Tech II to join their team! The qualified applicant must meet the following requirements:
A graduate of an accredited school of:
- Respiratory Care (RRT) or (CRT), or Radiological Technology (RT), or Cardiovascular Technology (CVT).
- Maintain current BLS and ACLS certification
The following licensure or certification is required depending on the corresponding education above:
CVT--Must have valid Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification or the Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Credential. Must maintain 12 CEUs per year or 36 every three years.
RRT-- Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed by the State of Florida (Department of Health). Renewed Bi-annually.
CRT Certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Licensed by the State of Florida (Department of Health). Renewed Bi-annually.
Rad Tech-- Valid Florida state license renewed every two years required. Valid American registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Renewed yearly.
- One (1) year hospital experience in the EP Lab required. Must meet all job-related duty requirements and EP Lab department specific competencies of an EP Tech I.
