Electrician

Primary Responsibilities:

• Performs general maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical equipment and wiring used at the parks to provide a safe environment for guests and employees
• Repair of general lighting and power circuits as well as repair of any miscellaneous types of electrical devises used through the parks
• Must install additional lighting and receptacle circuitry in existing structures, as well as in new additions to the parks
• Complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelines; organize and plan daily workload without direct supervision
• Dependable performance in terms of attendance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as required

Requirements and Competencies:

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have at least three years of experience or vocational school training in the electrical trade
• Must have a Florida Journeyman License
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must have basic mathematical skills
• Must be comfortable working at heights up to 100ft
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Must be able to climb and work off of ladders
• Must be able to train on and properly use protective gear
• Must be comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
• Must be comfortable handling chemicals with training (grease, oil, etc.)
• Must be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
• Must be able to work indoors/outdoors with or without A/C for entire shift
• Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
