Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs general maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all electrical equipment and wiring used at the parks to provide a safe environment for guests and employees
- Repair of general lighting and power circuits as well as repair of any miscellaneous types of electrical devises used through the parks
- Must install additional lighting and receptacle circuitry in existing structures, as well as in new additions to the parks
- Complete tasks assigned within time constraints implied by park guidelines; organize and plan daily workload without direct supervision
- Dependable performance in terms of attendance, acceptance of assignments, and strict adherence to all safety policies and requirements
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
Requirements and Competencies:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have at least three years of experience or vocational school training in the electrical trade
- Must have a Florida Journeyman License
- Must have a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have basic mathematical skills
- Must be comfortable working at heights up to 100ft
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Must be able to climb and work off of ladders
- Must be able to train on and properly use protective gear
- Must be comfortable with exposure to noise and vibrations
- Must be comfortable handling chemicals with training (grease, oil, etc.)
- Must be comfortable working around fumes/dust/odor
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors with or without A/C for entire shift
- Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays
