How You’ll Shine

As a Remote Travel Agent with Wyndham Destinations, you’ll become a subject-matter expert in all things vacation planning. During your paid training period, you’ll learn everything you need to know about our timeshare products, brands, resorts, and destinations. Then you’ll work from home turning vacation dreams into realities by offering Wyndham Destinations’ owners personalized recommendations and helping book their reservations. Every perfect getaway will begin with you.

Though no two days are the same at Wyndham Destinations, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Put your passion for customer service, sales, and travel planning into action
• Take calls from excited owners, ask discovery questions, and make their vacation reservations
• Help owners use points/credits to book travel: airfare, car rentals, cruises, hotels, etc.
• Provide guidance on points/credits conversion and review additional purchase options such as a credit card transaction over the phone
• Answer questions about resort facilities, amenities, and services
• Offer destination-specific recommendations based on the information owners share about their vacation interests, preferences, and goals

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months of customer service and sales experience
• Six months of travel experience preferred
• Able to work from home free from distractions
• A home environment with high speed internet where a hard wired connection can be made between the computer and router
• Ability to provide proof of homeowners or renters insurance for the home residence by day 1
• Ability to build rapport with customers quickly, ask probing questions, and offer additional services to meet their travel needs
• Able to show proficiency with travel programs such as Apollo, Sabre or Worldspan
• Intermediate computer knowledge
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and multi task
• Ability to work evenings and some holidays
