General Summary:  This position will be responsible for accurate and detailed accounting procedures as related to Accounts Payable for Country Club Management of Orlando.  

Essential Job Functions:

  • Input and process vendor invoices for bi-weekly check runs
  • Process weekly payments of liquor invoices, utility bills, and check requests
  • Review monthly statements; request copies of invoices as needed
  • Keep copies of invoices for special general ledger accounts to be distributed to accounting staff
  • Prepare monthly liquor tax return for review by Controller
  • Prepare credit applications for signature by Director of Accounting
  • Maintain Certificates of Insurance files on all vendors
  • Maintain 1099/W-9 information for all vendors
  • Assist with daily bank and mail runs when necessary
  • Order, distribute, allocate, and organize all office supplies
  • Monitor supplies and servicing for fax and copy machine
  • Assist the accounting staff with all filing, mailings, and other clerical support
  • All other duties as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in all areas of accounting with a preference in accounts payable
  • Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) skills required
  • Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
  • Must be insurable for automobile insurance with the company’s auto insurance carrier
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English
