Are you an organized individual who is passionate and willing to learn and teach? If yes, then we have an opportunity for you! We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant with 2+ years of experience. You will work closely with the HR Manager providing clerical support, daily general HR duties, onboarding, and much more!
Candidates will have:
- Human Resources or clerical support experience
- Advanced computer skills, including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to create presentations, reports, and spreadsheets
- Recruitment experience a plus
- Experience with entering information into a HRIS system, ADP a plus
- Exceptional personal character with high integrity; upholds McCoy’s Mission, Vision, and Values
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality is a must
- Strong presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Approachable style; ability to connect with employees and establish rapport
- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
- Must have reliable transportation and willing to travel to our various branch locations when needed
- Credit Union or financial experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assist with and process annual open enrollment
- Assist with and process bi-weekly payroll
- Reconcile and process benefit and monthly invoices
- Scan all employee personnel records, payroll, and other related documents
- Responsible for 1-9/E-Verify verifications, ensuring compliance, auditing and maintaining 1-9/E-Verify records
- Facilitate and assist with training such as New Hire Orientation and Open Enrollment
- Assist with Learning Management system
- Process employment verifications
- Maintain department supplies at par level
- Special projects as assigned
