About this Role:

We are currently seeking a well-experienced Web/UI and Graphic Designer with experience working in a marketing environment to join our team and be responsible for the overall website design, graphics, content creation, promotional campaign, events, and display ads. The building and implementing a UI strategy across multiple products on desktop and mobile.

You’ll have direct responsibility for the design, development and evolution of web page environments that deliver modern, engaging and dynamic customer experiences. And, you’ll find great opportunities within a talented group of individuals focused on innovation and committed to excellence.

This will not be a fully remote position, long-term. Under non-pandemic circumstances, it will be hybrid and collaboration will be necessary in the physical office for a specified number of days per week. Launch That has flexible work from home options that will continue to be available. In-office protocols are designed for safety. We are a conscientious workplace and make recommended changes to our current voluntary return to office practices, as warranted by changing conditions in our area. 

The Day-to-Day:

• Create user-focused web page designs informed by market analysis, customer feedback, and requirements, and user research analytics that are focused on improving the user experience and increasing lead conversions.
• Design wireframes, prototypes and UI mockups clearly illustrating website function and appearance.
• Design modern-looking, high-converting landing pages, ads, and calls to actions.
• Design high quality media assets that are an extension of our brands (illustrations, infographics, icons, colors, typography, animations, etc.).
• Collaborate with UX Design to create and maintain a cohesive and consistent brand experience between Marketing and Product.
• Participate in estimating design tasks, and communicate your progress for assigned tasks with the project team, project managers, and project leads.
• Continually pursue user/customer satisfaction with usability studies and testing.

What you bring to the role:

• 2+ years experience in Web design.
• A solid and up-to-date understanding of best practices, developments, and trends in web and mobile design practices.
• Ability to understand and comply with brand identity & guidelines, and bring strong insights into how to develop the brand moving forward.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design, including usability and accessibility concerns.
• Strong foundational design skills: Typography, layout, composition, color theory, iconography, UI, motion/interaction design and branding.
• Design systems or design library experience, and understanding visual design specifications for web developers.
• Ability to create engaging custom illustrations and other visual assets.
• Digital retouching and image editing.
• Expertise in contemporary digital design tools, including Figma (Sketch, etc), Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
• Comfortable sharing design work early and often.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work effectively on multiple projects at one time.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions quickly
• A portfolio showcasing excellent mobile-first UI design skills, including strong understanding of typography, color and composition.
• Experience with print and graphic design.

Bonus factors: 

• Experience with a CMS (WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, etc.).
• Understanding of various testing methods, such as preference, usability, or A/B testing.
• Experience with video editing. 
• Experience working with a digital marketing team or agency style client work.
