Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides programs and services for children and adolescents who face significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Based out of Orlando, FL, this position is responsible for:
- Conducting medical reviews, ensuring quality of care, and consulting and coordinating information with other members of the care team including the Psychiatrist and Program Manager.
- Providing oversight and direction for systems and tools used internally by staff and externally by provider partners to assist in Medical or Care Management operations.
- Achieving organizational performance standards that are measured through Joint Commission, Department of Children & Families, Community Based Care Organizations and Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing BSN Required
- Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse Licensure in the state of FL or multi-state licensure required
Experience:
- 1 year of Nursing experience required
- Prior nursing experience with children and adolescents who have behavioral and mental health dianoses preferred
Other:
- 21 years of age or older required
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to complete a one-week (Monday - Friday) new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientations are offered in Orlando, FL and Titusville, F
