Position Purpose
The Retail Supply Chain Solutions Strategic Account Manager – E-commerce is responsible for contributing to and executing the overall strategic direction of CHEP’s engagement with E-commerce. This role will work closely with multiple cross-functional departments including Strategy, Sustainability, Innovation, Operations, Finance, Customer Service and Inventory Management to optimize asset productivity and customer engagement. This person will focus on creating sustainable customer partnerships within E-commerce and to generate incremental revenue by implementing retail solutions.

Major/Key Accountabilities
- Creates, aligns, and implements execution of customer strategic plan
- Establish and maintain relationships at appropriate levels with customers and manage the interface between customer & CHEP
- Collaborates with Customer and CHEP internal functions to define and implement Strategic Initiatives resulting in joint supply chain savings and revenue generation
- Gains complete knowledge of Customer’s Supply Chain, resulting in identifying and leading additional operational efficiency initiatives and cost reduction opportunities
- Aligns success metrics with Customer’s internal business objectives around Customer Focus, Operational Effectiveness, Cost Reduction Initiatives and Volume Growth
- Ensures customer and territory-level KPIs and initiatives are on track to budget
- Manages monthly Scorecard generation to provide full and transparent visibility on Account Health and Supply Chain Value Stream success to both CHEP and Customers.
- Works closely with Operations where applicable to deliver profitable and effective operational support for CHEP services
- Regular engagement with global E-commerce CHEP network to develop and implement key strategies, shared learnings and to contribute to global initiatives as required
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field or equivalent job experience.
- Solid presentation skills, in-person and virtually with experience in Senior Level engagements
Desirable Qualifications:
- Retail or CPG manufacturer experience
Experience
- Strategy and/or Sales experience managing national customers in the E-commerce space
- Experience interfacing with Supply Chain / Operations
- Proven record of thought leadership and customer engagement in highly complex strategic environments
Skills and Knowledge
