Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager
Pay: $80,000 - $100,000 annually
Location: Kissimmee, FL
FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Responsibilities
- Assist Director of Finance to ensure the Accounting team runs smoothly and efficiently
- Produce and distribute accurate monthly financial statements.
- Become a resource to the department managers, assisting in resolving issues, understanding financial impacts and improving performance.
- Assist in overseeing accounting staff. Conduct trainings, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Become fully knowledgeable in all related software Systems including SMS, Epicor, and EZSuites and assist other employees as needed.
- Follow SOPs for Accounting and assist other areas in following ones relevant to their area
- Forecast and manage cash.
- Attend managerial meetings/department meetings as assigned.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, guests and employees.
- Knowledge and understanding of standard double entry accounting system.
- Will be responsible for the monthly financial statements and reconciling all balance sheet accounts.
- Ensures that all revenues are collected and accounted for properly.
- Assist accounting office with other tasks as assigned.
- Ensure all service professionals follow the resorts appearance standards.
- Partner with Human Resources to source and recruit qualified candidates.
- Conduct structured, behavioral and other forms of interviews to match candidates with open positions.
- Provide and promote exceptional customer service among all members of the department and other departments.
- Maintain effective communication and interaction with all departments of the property.
- Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies

- Position requires flexibility in scheduling
- Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
- Finance management experience of at least 3 years is required. Experience in hospitality field is a plus.
- Knowledge of US tax law and experience with YS labor laws is required.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft software
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Bachelors degree in related field is required.
- Must be able to work independently or as a team.
