THIS IS A PART-TIME POSITION WITH NO GUARANTEE OF A CERTAIN NUMBER OF HOURS AND NO BENEFITS. WORKING ON A TEMP/SEASONAL CONTRACT WHICH CAN BE RENEWED ANNUALLY BASED ON PERFORMANCE AND BUSINESS NEED.

NATURE OF WORK:

Performs skilled and semi-skilled work involving the cleaning and maintenance of City parking facilities and revenue collection from City parking meters. Some of each workday consists of emptying parking meters of change and completing appropriate reports and deposits according to division procedures. The balance of the incumbent's day involves cleaning and completing light repairs in City parking facilities. Tasks involve significant physical effort, hours of walking and standing each day, exposure to all weather conditions, and ability to use standard hand tools and operate power tools. Once employee is fully trained, will be expected to work with limited supervision. Performance is reviewed while in progress, and upon review of completed work.

REGULAR WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION: Average hours vary 20 to 32 hours per week. Some weekend and holiday work required. Schedule subject to change based on division needs. Work locations include various parking garages in and around Downtown Orlando.
