UCF utilizes OPS (Other Personal Services), or Temporary, positions to recruit diverse, qualified candidates to place into a wide variety of temporary positions throughout the university. These administrative roles can vary in length lasting up to one year.
The Opportunity
Each Temporary Fiscal assignment can vary in length lasting from a few days to one year of service. They can be part-time or full-time and require varying skill sets ranging from entry-level to advanced expertise. The needs of our business partners vary, and employees of diverse skills are needed for different assignments. Skills sets for these roles may be similar to the skill levels of position titles such as:

Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Knowledge of reconciliation processes for department expense transactions.
- Previous experience with matching and preparing files for expense processing.
- Past work experience with contacting vendors to obtain missing documents, i.e., invoices, credits, etc.
- Knowledge of filing practices for all incoming invoices in their appropriate folder locations with the correct naming convention.
- Proficient in general analytical abilities.
- Experience with processing requests for business travel and processing travel purchases using expense cards.
- Ability to acquire goods and services using college/division-assigned expense cards and reflect receipt of goods or services in designated systems.
- Experience identifying the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements.
- Ability to assist with the collection, review, and processing of the documentation required to support expense reports to ensure prompt and accurate reimbursement of approved expenses.
- Knowledge of digital filing practices.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office support and management.
- Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook; ability to train on and learn new computerized systems.
- Keen attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality while managing competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate, negotiate and work independently and in a team environment.
- Higher education experience.
- Ability to explain facts, processes, and procedures to others.
