Description:Participate in the SEAD Leadership Program. LM's Global Sustainment Organization invites entry level and early career employees to join the Sustainment Employee Advanced Development (SEAD) Program. SEAD is a three-year rotational program designed for high potential candidates who aspire to take on future Sustainment related leadership positions. SEAD will consist of 3 one-year rotations in Sustainment disciplines such as Sustainment Operations, Information Systems & Innovation, Supply Chain Management & Depot Operations, Field Sustainment, Courseware & Training and Technical Publications. Participants will also gain exposure to Program Integration skillsets, including Project Management, Proposal Management, Earned Value, Subcontract Managements and Quality. A cross functional business capstone project will be completed by the 3rd year. Participants will also have tremendous opportunities for team leadership training, networking, mentorship, and volunteering. Upon completion, participants will have gained a broad Sustainment knowledge base and will then be encouraged to pursue a career path within one of the Sustainment disciplines.

Candidates will be considered for hiring at the following RMS locations, with the potential to relocate between sites during the three-year program:
• Syracuse, NY
• Stratford, CT
• Trumbull, CT
• Orlando, FL
• Colorado Springs, CO
• Moorestown, NJ
• Fort Worth, TX


SEAD assignments are targeted to start in June 2024. Specific job assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following fields:
• Depot Operations
• Supply Chain Management
• Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals
• Technology and Tools Innovation
• Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
• Logistics Sustainment Analysis
• Modeling
• Instructional Design
• Customer Training
• Customer Service Role
• Multi-Media/Graphics


Rotation Details: TLS Capture Proposals
• Effectively perform the tasks associated with a Level 2 or 3 Program Integrator/Sustainment Engineer
• Understand a program's CONOPs and how it drives program scope and the development of a Product Support Management Plan
• Have working knowledge and/or understanding of some or all of the 12 Integrated Product Support Elements and
• how they are used on a program to meet requirements:
o Sustainment Engineering
o Maintenance Planning & management
o Packaging, Handling, Storage, & Transportation (PHS&T)
o Support Equipment
o Training & Training Support
o Manpower & Personnel
o Facilities & Infrastructure
o Computer Resources
o Product Support Management
• Be able to create BOEs to support program proposals
• Be able to manage a logistics/sustainment program
• Perform in a cross-functional teams
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Detail oriented, team oriented and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively work with internal & external customers
• Ability to work independently and work with limited direction to accomplish project goals
• Ability to multi-task efficiently and exhibit effective problem solving and process improvement skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focusing on innovative systems solutions
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• MS Office Proficient (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
• 0-3 years of Lockheed Martin experience (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance

• Proven analytical and leadership skills
• Experience in participation in continuous process improvement initiatives
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
