Description:This position supports the Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) Protocol & Customer Engagement (P&CE) team as the lead for the Orlando, FL site and is responsible for additional MFC sites across the United States.

This P&CE representative is responsible for simultaneously executing multiple critical customer and employee engagements (e.g., VIP facility visits, large ceremonies and events) and creating memorable experiences for all guests. The representative collaborates across the business areas and functions and engages with personnel at all levels of the Lockheed Martin Corporation to plan and execute VIP engagements that ultimately drive business growth and support mission success for our customer.

The role supports the MFC senior leadership team with customer visits and engagements, developing agendas and event schedules, managing logistics (hotels, transportation, catering, etc.), coordinating with key stakeholders, advising on domestic and international protocol and compliance topics, managing vendors, budgets, and soliciting after-action reports.

The representative leads cross functional teams to ensure deliverables are met and align with business objectives and requirements and are completed on schedule and within budget. This position requires frequent interaction with company executives to develop event objectives and advises on the best strategy to create desired outcomes.

Periodically, these VIP events will require working in the early morning hours and/or on evenings and/or weekends, as the representative is expected to use in-place processes and teamwork to ensure flawless execution. Accordingly, the chosen candidate should possess strong organizational skills, as well as sharp business and financial acumen, and should be able to work well collaboratively. In the process, the representative will have an opportunity to cultivate skills in fostering customer intimacy while ensuring that Missiles & Fire Control provides a world-class customer experience.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience working across multiple organizations, locations, and levels of leadership

Experience managing VIP Visits, Ceremonies, and Employee recognition events

Experience communicating with executive leadership and high-level customers

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Desired Skills:
Certified Protocol Officer

Experience interacting with diverse cultures and high-level United States and international government/military customers

Strong multitasking skills and initiative to plan and deliver flawlessly executed simultaneous events with little to general supervision

Experience negotiating pricing and agreements with vendors and suppliers

Experience vetting logistical contracts through legal processes

Budget management experience

Basic knowledge of Lockheed Martin products and missions

Current secret security clearance is preferred

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
