Description:This role has enterprise-wide responsibility for assisting with the management of security clearance operations and processing for the corporation; and for leading security professionals working within Lockheed Martin's consolidated Security Clearance Center. The selected candidate will also serve as Lockheed Martin's primary liaison/interface with the United States Government regarding personnel security clearance matters.

Collaborate in a team environment with multiple security disciplines. Interpret and implement government security requirements; and understand government methodologies, practices, and technologies with an emphasis on personnel security. Identify and support internal and external customer needs and incorporate them into business processes.

Candidate must be results-oriented; capable of effectively working, leading, and managing multiple tasks concurrently. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required. The candidate will be required to identify areas of concern and raise issues to leadership as appropriate.

The selected candidate will also be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Support daily operations and work assignments; review work for soundness of judgment, overall quality, and efficiency (in concert with or in the absence of team leads)
• Ensure that projects are completed following established procedures and schedules
• Oversee the preparation of process maps and Standard Operating Practices
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to perform proficiently in multiple systems simultaneously maintaining accuracy
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
- Effective Customer service skills
- Effective Communications skills (verbal and written)
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
-Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. Entry level.
Desired Skills:
-Government Investigator Experience
-Familiarity with LMSecurity Tools - DART. SMART, ISTART
-Understanding of the United States Government Security -Clearance process and associated policies/practices
- Experience with DISS and NBIS is required for this role
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
