Learning & Development Partner - RSC
A Learning & Development Partner provides project leadership and expertise in the design, development, implementation of learning and development solutions for Operations L & D Partners and Restaurant Support Center team members, specifically focused on building skills that support business strategies.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Conducts testing of SumTotal products, features, functionality to ensure compatibility with Darden systems. Provide communication of ongoing SumTotal product updates including impacts to Brand Learning Teams.
-Leads the training and development of new and existing LMS Administrators; defines roles and responsibilities.
-Responsible for the management and resolution of Service Desk tickets for SumTotal Learning system including applicable reporting. Development and maintenance of Service Desk reference materials.
-Partners with RSC HR Team to support the annual Talent Review process. Provides ongoing Internal Resume Support, Talent Grid Creation/Updates/Revision for the functional and executive talent review process.
-Provides support to Brand Training team and RSC with the development and assignment of learning solutions (classroom training, self-paced learning, eLearning, blended learning solutions, print etc.)
-Supports Brand Training Teams with SumTotal functionality support. This includes creation of Instructor Lead Training (ILT) assignments, NRO training and compliance fulfillments, training evaluation assignment, training assignment to specific brand audiences.
-KrowD editor for the “Nourish to Flourish” learning page including updates to content, troubleshooting Skillsoft curated training content, and ongoing site maintenance.
-Responsible for assignment/tracking/output reporting of all RSC required or recommended training/development activities.
-Partners collaboratively with Brands and Darden subject matter experts to ensure brand training and compliance materials are accurate and updated to meet ongoing legal requirements. Responsible for assignment and tracking of all Darden Compliance activities including Ops Annual Recommitment support.
-Fosters relationships with vendor partners to deliver high quality and cost-effective learning solutions.
-Manages resources (people, materials, time) to ensure deliverables are completed in scope and on schedule.
-Develops effective evaluation tools; communicates the impact of learning solutions.
-Proactively stays abreast of learning and development trends and best practices.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-3-5 instructional design, training, or related experience
-Experience with eLearning and web-based technologies; their capabilities and best instructional uses
-Experience developing eLearning using Articulate and other authoring tools
-Learning Management System experience is a must
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; advanced writing skills supporting multiple mediums (Job aids; eLearning; krowD content, etc.)
-Proficiency is MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
-KrowD editor experience for ongoing maintenance
-Working knowledge of restaurant operations
-Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education/educational technology, human resources, or business
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
-SumTotal LMS experience
-Additional human resources experience (e.g., employee relations, training, PeopleSoft, etc.)
