Radiology Technologist or Basic Machine Operator

Looking for an Xray technician for an Orthopaedic office in the Dr Phillips Area. The candidate will be responsible for the following:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Develop and process radiological images.
• Obtain quality diagnostic radiographs as requested by physicians.
• Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Immediately report any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
• Help maintain examination rooms, stock necessary office and radiological supplies.
• Work closely with the physician to receive guidance and instruction for evaluating patients.
• Assist in obtaining vital signs and initial patient information.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Graduated from an X-Ray Tech program or BMO certification.

• Demonstrate a professional and friendly demeanor

• Capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment

• Ability to multi-task and perform well in stressful situations
• Comfortable with computers and PACS programs

• Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

• Exceptional customer service skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
