Description:

You will be a Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) Engineering Process Group (EPG) Lead. You will support the LSE organization and and will be responsible for defining and controlling engineering process, monitoring adherence, measuring effectiveness, and incorporating improvements to LSE Command Media.



The Functional Directorates are responsible for ensuring their discipline's processes are implemented on program and their directorate members receive process and domain training. Each Functional Directorate is responsible for providing input into the organization's process architecture, definition, documentation, maintenance, and training, and are responsible for program engagement, and execution of the process.

The role of a LSE EPG Lead includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Provide command media updates and technical support as LSE CSB and CMRT member to review, vote, and communicate changes.
• Lead optimization efforts as it relates to process and strategic improvements for LSE Command Media
• Explore strategies to incorporate 1LMX, Digital Transformation (Dx) and Model Base Design (MBD) mapping within LSE command media.
• Streamline command media and updates commensurate with IEEE 15288 and E&T PDP Architecture as LSE member on the EPG team.
• Maintain LSE processes in alignment with LM Corporate policies and MFC business needs
• Support E&T Concept Screening Board (CSB) for Command Media process improvements IAW 1-4-021
• Support MFC enterprise Command Media Review Team (CMRT) for LSE
• Lead continuous updates and improvements for the LSE (Engineering Process Manuals (EPMs)
• Support the LSE Capability Managers and Senior Leadership team as required.
• Communication out to the broader LSE directorate as required
• Work across the E&T organization and other directorate representatives to ensure command media updates are current and align with other impacted command media.
• Identify opportunities to reduce site specific command media
• Support and Represent LSE during corporate audits
• Support the E&T EPG with process, definition, documentation, maintenance, and training, E&T Command Media reviews/approvals and process improvement initiatives

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated capability to effectively interface with an integrated product team of varying disciplines.
• Demonstrated track record of sustained high performance.
• Demonstrated excellence in communicating with Management.
• Effective task organization and demonstrated ability to multitask.
• Experience presenting to executive leadership and large audiences.
• Demonstrated Problem-Solving skills and Full Spectrum Leadership attributes.
• Strong Computer Skills (i.e MS Office, Tableau, Teams).
• Self-starter with ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
• Experience within Logistics and Sustainment Engineering.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated performance executing sustainment type contract requirements.
• Knowledge of and experience in the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering efforts across multiple program areas.
• Experience and familiarity with LM and MFC Command Media

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
