THE WORK
Lockheed Martin RMS and Derco, a Lockheed Martin Company, are seeking a Senior Program Manger that will have responsibility for the execution of all programs and new business pursuits within the Derco subsidiary. The selected leader will be responsible for leading a diverse team of program managers, delivering program performance across the Derco subsidiary product lines, as well as strategic implementation. Creating and maintaining internal and external customer relationships will be a priority as this position will be the primary interface for all Derco related activities across Lockheed Martin and in the marketplace. Responsibilities include:
• Leading a highly effective program management team to successfully deliver complex cross-functional projects on schedule and within budget
• Drive complex technical/non-technical issues to closure with practical solutions
• Play an integral role in driving new business strategies by executing programs and implementing best practices into new business pursuits
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Executing on keep sold plans to align with market trends and strategies to mature opportunities in adjacent markets
• Drive and participate in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes
• Focus on plans to improve high level of customer satisfaction by establishing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:
Successful candidate will have demonstrated leading multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment with internal and external customers. Key qualifications include:
• Qualified Lockheed Program Manager (or similar external equivalent)
• Program/Project Management experience; strong experience in EVMS and performance metrics
• Proven ability to successfully manage geographically dispersed teams with a record of delivering positive results
• Possess strong financial acumen
• Demonstrated results developing strategic plans that drive business results along with planning for NBF and IRAD activities on an annual basis
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders with differing goals and objectives
• Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to establish positive customer relationships with Lockheed Martin executives, government, and industry customers
• Demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with key suppliers
• Experience defining and executing new business strategy
• Demonstrated ability and business acumen to manage a portfolio of programs and new business activities
• Must be able excel in fast-paced, high-demand environments with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task
• Must be willing and able to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) as required

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
